The goal of the National Baptist Brotherhood Union is to win lost souls to Jesus Christ and build up the Church as the Body of Christ. The objectives include winning souls to Christ through evangelism, mission, education; developing a cadre of Christian men who are committed to training for leadership; intense and in-depth recruitment of committed churchmen who are willing to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ beyond the church walls through a study of the Word, prayer, special laymen’s studies, and the nurturing of boys and young men in the Christian faith; to become biblical teachers in the local church; demonstrate Christian conduct in speech and dress; provide the mature role model for African-American men; using the literature written and published by NBCA, Inc. specifically for the brotherhood; supporting NBCA, Inc. systematically as a corporate union and individually through the Covenant Action Plan (CAP); undertaking a special brotherhood project annually; becoming financially accountable to NBCA, Inc. as a corporate group for receipt of revenue and expenses incurred; and aligning all Plans of Work in concert with the NBCA, Inc. |
