Haiti Field Report
Greetings to you all in His Name,

I want to thank you all for the financial support for the year of 2006 – 2007. Here in Haiti, each day is filled with opportunities for preaching the Gospel. We don’t want to allow any precious moment to flee from us without accomplishing any small task, for our living God whom we serve and who has entrusted us with our task never sleeps nor slumbers.

I was recently in Haiti on March 31, 2007, for one month, many of us from our Church felt a new concern for prayer meetings and revival meetings. The Lord unites our hearts firmly. We spent many times in prayer for many churches in the USA and for Haiti. A good program was adjusted to allow young people to participate in several meetings. We preached in both the town of Petion-Ville (open air meetings included) and in the countries where we have satellite churches.

About 300 people attended nightly. Fifty-three were added to the church and many Christians renewed their consecration of their faith to the Lord. One of our targets besides preaching, teaching, performing weddings, and baptizing, was the distribution of hundreds of tracts.

A prophet of old times related these words, “wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; learn to do well; seek judgment, relive the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.” – Isaiah 1:16, 17.

This prophet speaks for God as he sees the many conditions of neglect in his time. Our time is also filled with like-conditions. These conditions are really, though viewed sometimes negatively, opportunities for those concerned to respond with kindness. It requires much effort and courage to respond to these conditions when it is quite easy to do the opposite.

We praise the Lord for answering prayer, in providing opportunities for services. We are focusing on opening a Christian orphanage. We want to open it with the capacity of 20 children, and the financial help you give us will be used toward the opening of that orphanage. God put this burning desire in our hearts for ages and it is time to concretize it.

You will have more details in our next report. We praise the Lord, and we feel His presence with us. He works mightily by His spirit. Please pray for us that He will continue to work and that many will be saved. Thank you and may God bless you.
