We have been meeting with Susan Taylor and her staff regarding a new project, Essence Cares. If you are an avid reader of Essence Magazine, you should have noticed an ad on Essence Cares Mentoring Program teaming with four African American Baptist Conventions. On May 31, 2007, Susan Taylor made an appeal on Oprah for volunteers, as she launched Essence Cares.
